Board Member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Edo-born football administrator, Aisha Falode, has congratulated the Chairman of Edo Queens, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, and the Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Desmond Enabulele, following the club’s impressive victory in the recently concluded Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Super Six competition.
In a congratulatory message, Falode described the achievement as a testament to hard work, visionary leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the development of women’s football in Edo State.
She commended Emperor Jarrett Tenebe for his outstanding leadership and continued support for Edo Queens, noting that his dedication has helped establish the club as one of the leading women’s football teams in Nigeria.
Falode also praised Hon. Desmond Enabulele for his commitment to sports development in Edo State, stating that the success of Edo Queens reflects the positive impact of the state government’s sustained investment in sports and youth talent development.
The NFF Board Member further applauded the players, coaching crew, and management of Edo Queens for their resilience, discipline, and exceptional performances throughout the competition.
She expressed confidence that Edo Queens would continue to make Edo State and Nigeria proud on the continental stage and urged the team to remain focused, determined, and committed to achieving even greater success in future competitions.
