Nigeria – The Onwuma Foundation For Nature Anoka has reaffirmed its commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable Nigerians while championing transparency, accountability, and people-centered governance across the country.
Speaking on the Foundation’s vision, its leadership stated that the organization is dedicated to ensuring that no Nigerian is left behind, emphasizing that sustainable national development begins with strong and empowered communities.
The Foundation’s mission focuses on three key areas: providing support for the less privileged through food assistance, healthcare, educational support, skills acquisition, and empowerment programmes for widows, orphans, persons with disabilities, and vulnerable families; promoting good governance by working with public leaders, citizens, and institutions to encourage transparency, effective service delivery, and active citizen participation at the local, state, and federal levels; and building a strong foundation rooted in integrity, unity, and selfless service to create lasting grassroots development.
As part of its expansion plans, the Foundation has called on patriotic Nigerians to join its growing movement by becoming members, volunteers, or partners.
According to the organization, individuals, corporate bodies, and community groups can contribute through donations, sponsorships, and collaborative community development projects.
The Foundation also appealed to government agencies, development partners, and private sector organizations to support its mission of expanding healthcare outreach programmes, youth empowerment initiatives, educational scholarships, and civic education campaigns across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The leadership expressed confidence that collaborative efforts between citizens, government, and the private sector would help build a nation where opportunities are accessible to all and leadership remains accountable to the people.
“ONWUMA FOUNDATION: For the People. For Progress. For a Stronger Foundation. Together We Move.”
